Sofia got an Intuition grant

Sofia, the project two of us started as our web-dev degree graduation work, just landed an Intuition grant. Writing that down still feels a little unreal.

What it changes

A grant is the first time someone outside the room looks at the bet (that behavioral reputation belongs on-chain, as legible atom/triple claims) and says this is worth funding. That's a different kind of signal than a good grade or a nice demo. It means the idea has to survive contact with people who have no reason to be kind to it.

It also changes the stakes in a quiet way. Funding turns "we'll get to it" into "this has to actually ship, for real users, on a timeline." That pressure is welcome. It's the thing that turns a school project into a product.

What it doesn't change

It isn't a finish line, and it isn't proof we're right. It's fuel. The hard parts (modeling messy human activity into honest attestations, earning trust from real users) are exactly as hard as they were the day before. A grant buys runway to keep being wrong faster, not permission to stop.

Why I'm writing it here

Because the honest version of "we got a grant" includes the part where we still don't know if the core bet holds. That uncertainty is the whole reason this journal exists: to document the trajectory while it's still in question, not to narrate it after the fact.
